I’ve followed so so many tips from forums and pioneer to just give rekordbox the stage on my machine but there is always something else.

I always have the newest rekordbox / XZ driver versions, holding the OS back on Mojave to avoid the new OS issues. I’m connecting using a UDG USB cable (made for laptop DJs) and I’ve tried a range of others that I own. Really? Most professional / touring DJs who use laptops seem to use MacBooks of a similar era to mine. Having to restart rekordbox to make it work. I am doing every hint right I am not new to this.

It just worked.ĭoesn’t like turbo boost, that grinds it to a haltĭoesn’t like AMD graphics, that crashes it RB5 was brilliant in terms of reliability. Which works perfectly and isn’t cluttered with lots of other software. I’m using a great spec 2015 MacBook Pro intel i7 2.5ghz Quad Core dual graphics / 16 GB Ram. I’ve done 22 shows of which 6 of them have encountered issues even after I’ve optimised things for performance. I live stream with rekorbdox every week since last October. Most of my sets are fine but at random it just throws a wobble and there is no way of relying on it like USB DJing. I would have performed with this service on the high quality version. I have saved a huge amount of hard drive space.
Link has given me access to 2,700 new tracks in 6 months that I have play listed for a fixed fee of $30 per month. I’m at my wits end - because I actually love rekordbox and I love Beatport link.
